After spending decades together, Lisbeth & Geoffrey tied the knot at the picturesque mansion The Manor Elstree in Hertfordshire, amongst their closest family and friends.

The Manor Elstree

Formerly known as the Edgwarebury Hotel, The Manor Elstree is nestled in the Hertfordshire countryside and surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens. The interior and furnishings are apparently a working showcase for Laura Ashley’s distinct designs, which is visible by the brand’s iconic florals, flocks, and prints tastefully styled to accentuating the historical country manor.

The Final Photographs

The purple furnishings throughout the hotel created a subtle purple tint, which serendipitously matched Geoffrey’s tie, Lisbeth’s make up, and made for an elegant touch to the overall look of the photos. When it came to editing the photos, I played with the white balance to see how the image would look with a warmer tone, but it didn’t look right to interfere with the purple that was already included in the colour scheme and theme of the wedding. Instead, I simply toned down the white balance and masked key areas of the photos to control harsh and deep tones/lighting, and embraced the natural look of the images.
