With a late civil ceremony booked at Old Marylebone Town Hall and a desire for beautiful, natural couple portraits nestled in nature, Aiswarya and Dylan began their wedding celebration together with a quiet walk around Regents Park to capture quiet moments of their first look and portraits within nature.
From the moment I met Aiswarya and Dylan, their energy was infectious – pure joy, warmth and a quiet magic that made them feel like home. They’re the kind of couple that just make sense – with a love that grows from friendship and transcends all odds by flourishing into something beautiful.

The Japanese Garden Island at Regents Park
Whilst walking through the The Japanese Garden Island, a truly gorgeous location filled with vibrant flowers, foliage, and secluded spots; Ash and Dylan relaxed into their own little world. Framed by the backdrops of willow trees and soft lavender, they used this time to share their fondest memories of one another, their deepest wishes for the future and reflected on recent moments they shared together that have brought them joy, happiness and laughter. A perfect way to recollect their story, before joining hands as husband and wife.

Queen Mary’s Rose Garden at Regents Park
We also walked through Queen Mary’s Rose Garden, home to 12,000 roses and over 85 single variety beds. Although very busy at the time, and nearing the end of flowering season, we were only able to use this space to capture movement shots overlooking the lake and up-close details before excitedly walking back through the park towards Marylebone. We spent around an hour and a half here, leisurely exploring, taking in the views and giving Ash & Dylan plenty of space and time to be present and take in all the love and excitement they shared ahead of their ceremony.

The Old Marylebone Town Hall in Marylebone, London.
We made our way over to The Old Marylebone Town Hall for their civil wedding ceremony and were greeted at the steps by their wonderful family and friends. The sun was gleaming, creating the softest light which made for some truly wonderful candid moments. Dylan was on husband-to-be duties helping Ash change from her trainers to heels which made for a really lovely moment, and there was so much laughter and smiles all round.

The Westminster Room
The ceremony itself took place in the Westminster room and was very moving, with their vows being some of the most precious, and deeply articulated vows I’ve ever heard. Their guests weren’t just present, but immersed in the joy of their ceremony – sharing tears, excitement, joy, laughter and giving meaning to every moment. Ash & Dylan’s love isn’t just something you see – it really is something you feel when you’re with them, and it honestly made capturing their wedding day so special – for that I’m eternally grateful.

Confetti, Portraits & Guest Photos
Before heading off to a well deserved meal to celebrate with their favourite people, we spent some time outside Old Marylebone Town Hall for confetti photos and fun group photos with their friends and family. Everyone brought the best energy and made for some amazing laughter, smiles and joy. Traditional family photos don’t need to be formal and uncomfortable – instead we made it fun and encouraged everyone to share the love and channel their own energy. We also grabbed a few quick portraits outside the town hall to round off a very special day for Aiswarya & Dylan.
If you’re planning your own wedding – whether it’s a short civil ceremony or a full-day celebration – and have a kind of love that yearns for real, timeless and natural photography, I’d love to hear from you!
