Delighted to have photographed Amelia and Lucas’s wedding this year, at some of London’s most historic and characterful places.
Ceremony at The Charterhouse
Their wedding ceremony took place in the Norfolk Cloister at The Charterhouse, an enchanting space with stone arches and grand windows, making for a truly unique setting. As Amelia & Lucas entered the ceremony space together, the London Bulgarian Choir filled the space with beautiful harmonies, creating such a unique, goosebump-worthy moment!
Couple Portraits around Barbican & St Paul’s London
After the ceremony, I walked alongside Amelia & Lucas through the streets of London, following the light and looking for opportunities to capture their gentle and playful nature together. We ventured round past Founders’ Hall near Bartholomew Square to stop and look at the Hall’s gardens, followed by a walk (or should I say dance) round into Bartholomew Close, where Amelia & Lucas began dancing/tigh-rope walking on the markings on the floor. Such a sweet moment!
We then made a quick stop at Christchurch Greyfrairs Church Garden for a leisurely stroll through the grounds to look at the flowers and grab a quick few photos underneath the lamppost before heading over to Worshipful Company of Cutlers for their evening reception.
Evening Reception at Worshipful Company of Cutlers
The Worshipful Company of Cutlers is a fascinating space, known as one of the City of London’s historic livery halls. Combining grand architecture, intricate woodwork, and a palpable sense of history. Amelia & Lucas dined alongside their guests in a grand dining hall filled with long banquet tables and grand chandeliers. Creating a romantic and homely aesthetic with conversations by candlelight and laughter echoing around the high ceilings.
It was such a delight to photograph Amelia & Lucas’s wedding and a real treat to photograph at two truly hidden-gem venues in London.
